Stewards are appointed, annually, by the pastor and thereby become the pastor’s cabinet. Our Steward Board are the spiritual leaders of the church. Stewards serve and comfort the distressed and the needy. The Pastor presides over and appoints the Board of Steward members annually. The Presiding Elder at the First Quarterly Conference confirms the Board. This group is responsible for the overall needs of the Local Church: finances, Pastor and the general welfare of its members. The Stewards also assist the pastor in delivering communion to the sick and shut-in members of the church. The pastor will appoint a president pro tempore in his absence.
